One of the strangest looking anomalies I've ever seen in any of the Apollo images is the chartreuse-critter-thing that LunaCognita found in AS17-137-20925

The anomaly can be easily seen by spiking the image or brightening-up the shadow area.

Here's one I did ....




Nobody knows what this object is and it has never been explained.

Maybe the last Man on the Moon knows what it is ?   mrgreen
