Disclosure Project Witness: Sgt. Karl Wolfe - US Air Force

"I was asked to go over to this facility on Langley Air Force base where the NSA was bringing in the information from the Lunar Orbiter"

"they took me into this laboratory, i took a look at the equipment, there was a 'Airman 2nd Class' in there, and i was a A2C as well"

"we walked over to one side of the lab and he said, by the way we've discovered a base on the backside of the Moon"

"then he pulled out one of these mosaics and showed this base which had geometric shapes, there were towers, spherical buildings, there were very tall towers and things that somewhat looked like radar dishes but they were large structures"

"I didn't want to look at it any longer than that, because I felt that my life was in jeopardy. Do you understand what I'm saying? I would have loved to have looked at it longer, I would have loved to have had copies. I would love to have said more about it, discussed it more, but I knew I couldn't. I knew the young fellow who was sharing this was really, really overstepping his bounds at that point.

"I felt that he just needed somebody to talk to. He hadn't discussed it, couldn't discuss it, and he wasn't doing it for any ulterior motive other than the fact that I think he had the weight of this thing on him and it was distressing to him…

"I knew that I couldn't go anyplace for at least five years without telling the State Department where I was, after I left the military. Any time I traveled I had to notify and get permission, even in the United States. They had to know where I was all the time. As an example, if we went to Vietnam there was always someone there with us, with a gun, ready to annihilate us basically if we should fall into the hands of the enemy. They didn't want the enemy to get us; we would be killed instead.

"So we knew we were operating under these sort of conditions. Your life was in jeopardy all the time, should you fall into the wrong hands. So we were aware of that. I was told when I left that I would be investigated on a regular basis to make sure that I wasn't involved in any peculiar activities that didn't suit the government's needs."

Secret Base Discovered on Moon Empty Re: Secret Base Discovered on Moon

sunny Best wishes for the new year everyone!

Here is an extended version of the interview with Sergeant Karl Wolfe, US Air Force:
Check out what Mr. Wolfe says at 19:43, when asked what it was that finally made him decide to come forward:

Yeah, it was Edgar Mitchell. He said: "Come forward". And I said: "Okay, it's time to start stepping out with this information..."

Now that's interesting! As you can imagine, the topic of Secret Bases on the Moon is not a popular one among the Apollo astronauts, and Edgar Mitchell in particular has made a point of denying that he ever saw structures on the Moon. So why would he involve himself with a testimony about buildings and a base on the Moon if he never saw anything?

When you're not in a position to talk, you may as well support the team that can speak for you, right? Nice one, Mr. Mitchell. pirat

Agreed Max, that is definitely interesting to say the least.

One thing about Wolfe's testimony that bothers me is the year he claims he saw the imagery.

He says "in mid-1965, he was loaned to the Lunar Orbiter project" ...

... but the LO missions supposedly started in 1966.

The Lunar Orbiter program was a series of five unmanned lunar orbiter missions launched by the United States from 1966 through 1967.

Did he just make an honest mistake ?

Or ...

Is it possible there was a secret DoD Lunar Orbiter program launched earlier ?

Watcha think ? Any thoughts on that discrepancy ??  umm

Here's a really interesting LO5 image and some of the objects might be a tower or somekind of structures ...

That's a good point easynow, and I'm glad you're bringing it up because it bothers me as well - but only a little bit, and only because I can't prove what the answer is.

The main reason why people seem to have a problem with this discrepancy is because they are not willing to consider the possibility of a secret DoD mission, like you just suggested. If you ask me, it's either that or Mr. Wolfe is mistaken, and to me the idea that he somehow made a mistake in his testimony seems pretty much impossible.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Solar_System_exploration

Even if Sgt. Wolfe was mistaken about the year, and he meant to say 1966 instead of '65, the time period he indicates in the interview still wouldn't match up to the first Lunar Orbiter. At 1:48 in the video he says "I believe it was about June or July, 1965, some time in that time frame", and he is quite specific about that. Changing this to June/July 1966 (his "mistake") would make no difference because Lunar Orbiter 1 was not launched until the 10th of August, 1966.
The spacecraft acquired photographic data from August 18–29, 1966, and readout occurred through September 14, 1966.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_Orbiter_1
Are we supposed to believe he was mistaken about the months also? The thing is easynow, there is always something to attack for the skeptics/debunkers out there (not you). For instance, even if Sgt. Wolfe's time period would have matched Lunar Orbiter 1 they would no doubt jump on the fact that this spacecraft was not tasked to photograph the back side of the Moon, and so on. With this kind of thinking you may as well dismiss the entire testimony as fiction.

Another argument against the "mistake-theory" is the fact that the good people of the Disclosure Project were no doubt aware of this discrepancy as well, so they must have asked him - 1965, are you sure? Besides that, the interview is from 2001 so there has been plenty of time for Mr. Wolfe or the Disclosure Project to come forward and correct this "error", and that hasn't happened either.

To make a long story short: I can't prove any of this, but logic and common sense suggests to me that Mr. Wolfe is not mistaken, and what he is referring to must have been a secret Lunar Orbiter mission. I know this may sound crazy to some, but ask yourself this: if there aren't any secrets involved here, why did they bring in the NSA to develop the photographs?

Another topic on the forum hinting at secret lunar missions is this one:
https://spacetime.forumotion.com/t714-the-apollo-17-hand-job-examining-cernan-schmitt-s-claims-of-hand-injuries-suffered-during-their-mission

Any thoughts or comments, easynow?  mrgreen

Cheers,
MP

By the way, that LO5 image you posted is a good one; that object doesn't look like a natural formation at all. With these kind of things showing up in the public/sanitized photographs, can you imagine what Mr. Wolfe must have seen?

Thanks Max Peck, and yeah I thought it might be a good idea to mention the discrepancy's in order to try and figure out what the truth might be.

A covert DoD space mission is a very real possibility, but, in the video, Wolfe hesitates while trying to remember the year and specifically say's ... "it was the first LO program, where they had a mission to pretty much locate the first landing sites for the 1969 lunar missions"

So ... considering those two things, I'm thinking the "he just made an honest mistake" theory is probably the most likely explanation. ?

but ask yourself this: if there aren't any secrets involved here, why did they bring in the NSA to develop the photographs?

Can't rule out the possibility of a secret DoD mission but I think the most plausible explanation for the secrecy factor was because of the Soviet luna missions and also the possibility of finding structures or evidence of extraterrestrials.

And yes the LO5 image is a good one indeed and I agree, some of those objects don't look like natural formations.

Thanks again Max ... if you have any more thoughts on this subject I'd sure like to hear them and Happy New Year and best wishes to you as well. Cheers  alien
