Hi everyone, according to an article from businessinsider.com entitled, "The Technical Leader Of Google Glass Is Developing Technology That Would Allow A Dog To Talk To A Human" by Jay Yarow,

A team of researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology are trying to develop wearable technology for dogs that would allow them to communicate with humans, Rachel Metz at MIT Tech Review reports.

If it actually worked, Whats the first thing you'd say or ask Fido ?

Thanks for sharing Bob, very interesting and I can see the possibilities where a device like this could seriously help. I'm not sure what would happen if Fido could really talk though.

You're very welcome Max.  This type of device may lead to devices that will help facilitate communication with people who have speech and or hearing impairments. In addition we will eventually develop universal language translators and communicators that will enable humans to communicate with other beings throughout the universe. I previously wrote
