Thanks for adding easynow. Based on the raw image I really couldn't say what this is.

The temperature on Mars may reach a high of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius) at noon, at the equator in the summer, or a low of about -225 degrees Fahrenheit (-153 degrees Celsius) at the poles. Obviously this is very inhospitable for humans, but it is also of some concern for the electronics and mechanical parts of a Mars airplane and its instrumentation.

Me too that's why I thought it was worthy of posting. I've seen more than a few images like this which appears to show something up in the air, but most of them I could dismiss as a telemetry issue .. but this one is a bit more prominate so the missing data explanation seemed questionable.

Really imo, looking at the other images from this SOL might help us to understand if this is something anomalous or not .... but I just haven't had the extra time.
