The Hudson Valley UFO Flap

The 1980's Hudson Valley UFO sightings is an extremely interesting case study because it was a mass sighting of strange craft in the sky over upstate New York which persisted for many years and numerous people reported seeing a huge delta shaped object similar to what was spotted over Phoenix Arizona in 1997. During the flap or wave of sightings there were some misidentified objects reported but it doesn't account for all the craft seen and witnessed. "The Hudson River valley of New York state was the site of one of the most widely witnessed and extended episodes of UFO activity ever. Literally thousands of witnesses observed the objects, and many photos and videos were taken.

The "siege" begot over 7,000 documented and investigated sightings of a boomerang-shaped craft or crafts moving silently through the sky over New York and Connecticut between 1982 and 1995."
