Apollo 17 Image - AS17-134-20382 - Smoking Gun Proof of Image Tampering

One thing about this frame - AS17-134-20382 - that you have to keep in mind. Several of the archives show versions that have the sky cropped directly above the flag.

Here is one example. This one is the NASA "Gateway" version of this frame (thanks for drawing this one to my attention Skywalker!).

If you download the image from this site, just split it apart and examine the saturation layer.

And here below is a composite enhancement I did to the USGS archive version of this frame I mentioned, blending the raw surface scene with the enhanced sky region.
